A death marker in the desert. John, Anna are on a bright teal wooden cross. Without a doubt they died at that spot in the desert. I felt that it was a moving marker and wanted to record it for more people to see.

An old room in Gary, Indiana's abandoned First Methodist Church and school. The orange chair has been a centerpiece for Chicago and Indiana photobloggers for a while. The chair has been photographed in various states of decay.

Revisited the Cadillac Ranch on this trip of Route 66 in 2010. The colors and patterns on this piece of art are always changing.

I absolutely love Santa Fe. I hope that one day I am lucky enough to visit again, and maybe if I am very lucky, to live in Santa Fe permanently. Very compassionate, fun and kind people I have encountered here.

A statue of the "Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha" I believe I read in Santa Fe, that she was the first Indian who was a Christian. Beautiful statue of an Indian woman in front of the church in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Roy's! This sign is supposed to be the most photographed on Route 66. Located in the currently reconstructed town of Amboy, California.

A trip to Amboy, California in the Mohave Desert on Route 66. The town was purchased by a fast food chain owner. The sign is really retro circa 1950's and just so damn hard not to photograph. I came back from Barstow, California just to fall asleep in my car and wake up to the morning in the Mohave Desert.
